About us:

Located on 10 acres of rolling hills just northeast of La Center, Washington, the name Remuda was selected from a word of Spanish origin meaning a group of working horses bred specifically for ranch work and to pen cattle. The Remuda Ranch has been able to incorporate and carefully select a band of broodmares and stallions from such lines

as Freckles Playboy, Dual Pep, Sugar Bars, Aristocratic Merada and Autumn Boon, just to name a few, in order to produce only the finest in AQHA/APHA reining, cutting and working cow horses. 

Established in 1997, and the home to  Heidi Holmstrom-Olson, her husband Jeff,

and an array of other animals ranging from buffalo, fainting goats to Australian Cattle Dogs, the Remuda Ranch offers top of the line stud services along with a very successful training program in reining, cutting and roping.  Heidi has been

competing and training now for over 20 years and in 2002; she was recognized for

her hard work and dedication to the AQHA/APHA breed and was awarded the honor of being the AQHA/APHA trainer of the year. Heidi has, also, participated in the Craig Cameron Extreme Cowboy Race in 2002 and her accomplishments don’t stop there.

Her talents go beyond running a successful horse ranch.  She has been a certified veterinarian technician since 1989, in 2000 she became certified in

Artificial Insemination and Equine Color Genetics, also in 2009 she was certified as a dental specialist and it doesn’t stop there.

In 2004, Heidi was certified in Equine Chiropractics and Massage, and not long

after she decided to start up Equine~Align Chiropractics, as the popularity of using

chiropractics to better a horses overall performance increases, so does here

business and the need for her services.  She now has many repeat clients,

many of which have spread the word to their friends about Equine~Align
